Our Story: The Vision Behind Volume Salons

Since 2006, we’ve worked hard to bring downtown style into the suburbs, ensuring that everyone and anyone can benefit from our salon’s winning combination of time-served artistry and extensive knowledge of hair care products.  At Volume, we’re in the people business. We strive to make our clients feel comfortable and relaxed, which is why we’ll make you a coffee first and ask questions later. We’re all about chatting comfortably so we can truly understand the specifics of what you’re asking for. RADI JABER

Master Stylist & Salon Owner

With over 20 years of experience starting in high school cosmetology, Radi went on to work at Sears hair care centre, then to Bottega Salon. He received his journeyman certificate from Marvel College. At the age of 24, he opened his first salon. The inspiration of his cuts come from the clients - their face, bone structure and style. This charming artist's style is as diverse as his clientele; from classy and sophisticated to wild and edgy; its no wonder this stylist is in high demand.

"I started my career in the beauty industry when I was 15 years old, inspired by my father who had been in the industry for many years. He gave me an outlook on how very exciting and pleasurable my career could be."

LAUREN EVANS

Master Stylist & Great Lengths Hair Extensions Certified

Lauren started with Marvel College and excelled in up-do's and colouring. With over a decade of doing hair, this seasoned professional continues taking advanced cutting, colouring and product classes. She has also had training through Christiano Cora from New York. She performs her art with the care and precision of an experienced and thoughtful colour specialist. Her new found ambition has been hair extensions and is a great length certified stylist.

STACY MACPHERSON

Master Stylist

Stacy’s career started with training at the Eveline Charles Academy then on to work at Eveline Charles Salon and Spa. She has a thirst for learning new things and feels it is important to keep on top of the latest trends and techniques. She has taken the Vidal Sassoon cut and color courses, Mask color classes, and numerous product knowledge seminars for Kerastase product line. She has learned from industry leaders like Christiano Cora from New York City.

This super creative and innovative stylist has been making people look their best since graduating and hasn’t stopped since. Working with special conditioning treatments, this stylist makes sure your hair is in tip-top condition to make her clients look and feel their very best.

TAYLOR WITH

Master Stylist

Taylor is as bright as her smile. She started her career in highschool cosmetology and has excelled in her apprenticeship to red seal.  She has been in the industry for over 10 years. 

She advances her skills with current training and courses.

Taylor strives at excellent communication skills to make guests feel heard in order to achieve the best look suited for them.

JUSTINE LUTOMSKI

Advanced Stylist

Justine is a newly passionate Hair Stylist! She studied cosmetology in highschool and graduated top of her class from MC College October 2020. Justine also has her Bachelor of Commerce. She is grateful to have found a career she is passionate about and is able to be artistic all while being able to create a positive impact on how clients look and feel about themselves. Justine is hardworking, attentive and always looking for opportunities to grow and learn new techniques. She looks forward to growing with Volume Salons!

CHLOE GILLIES

Junior Stylist

Chloe's passion for hair blossomed when she enrolled in Harry Ainlay's Advanced Cosmetology Program. Her hard work and commitment to the program earned her the Career & Technology award for Cosmetology during her senior year. Chloe's dedication paid off when she competed at Skills Canada Alberta 2023, where she was a finalist and received a safety medal. Now a Journeymen Apprentice, Chloe continues to learn and grow her skills every day under the guidance of Volume Salon's Master Stylists.

Cecily Smithman

Senior Stylist

Cecily attended J. Percy Page High School, where she completed the RAP program at just 15 years old. It was in her 10th-grade cosmetology class that she discovered her passion for hair. Since then, she has been cutting hair and honing her skills, particularly in color, which has allowed her to expand her expertise significantly.



Cecily has grown increasingly appreciative of the incredible transformations that a haircut and color can bring to someone.

Sophie Sarah

Junior Stylist

During her early teenage years, she discovered a passion for the beauty industry. After high school, she pursued university studies but later realized her true calling was in hair care. Transitioning to MC College, she quickly found a deep love for hairstyling. She enjoys hairstyling because it is an evolving field, always offering something new to learn, whether it’s techniques, trends, or new products. Her goal is to develop close relationships with her clients and become a trusted confidant over time.
